Denver, Colorado - Up and coming hip hop artist TheVoice has released her latest collection of studio endeavors, a three track EP entitled ‘WorldWide.’ The songs, which elegantly harness both the power of hip hop and neo soul, are remarkable entries in the growing catalog of this rising songwriter and performer. The effort is available now on all major digital music streaming and download platforms. Hailing from Denver, TheVoice has previously had parallels drawn between her music and the likes of Bahamadia, Lauryn Hill, and Nina Simone. Her voice is the most vital element of her artistry, hence her moniker, and her songwriting style incorporates rap, spoken word, and soulful singing into a beautifully constructed sonic tapestry quite unlike anything else in the independent music community today. “Hip hop is truth expressed… through the struggle,” TheVoice mused about her artistry. “Whether you express that truth through lyrics, dance, music, graffiti, language, literature, truth being: who you are, where you come from, what you believe, what you stand for, and what you can give back to the struggle.” “It’s a superb indie hip hop record with a fantastic message that’s remarkably well performed and produced,” Independent Spotlight critic Brett David Stewart raved about ‘WorldWide.’ The EP became available on all major music platforms March 10 and fans can connect with TheVoice on her official website and social networking below.
