Atlanta-basedsinger-songwr iterandNBC’s TheVoiceveteran,JeanKelleyreleasesthemusicvideotoherfirst single “Stacking Stones,” fro m her new Stacking Stones EP. Pop Dust raves, “ Jean Kelley throws every ounce of grit and soul she can muster into h er new track Stacking Stones.” Raw, powerful vocals, an energizing beat and a rhythm driven chorus form the framework of her tenacious and optimistic single. The visuals for the video draw you into a compelling story of a woman chased by what she perceives to be a danger, only to find out things aren’t quite what they seem. The Nashville native’s sound draws inspiration from her Americana roots and pop music influences. In spite of a life of financial hardship and the tragic loss of her mother, Kelley held onto her childhood dream of becoming a singer. It wasn’t until she moved to Atlanta that she began to showcase her soulful, sultry vocals and began performing covers and angsty pop/rock originals, inspired by her own adversity, around the city. While searching for her niche in the music industry, Kelley took a chance on an audition for season 7 of The Voice in 2014. Attracting the attention of all four judges, Kelley ultimately made it to team Pharrell’s Top 5. After her performances on the show, Kelley met with several record labels and decided that the best way to get her music and message out without compromising her artistic integrity would be to do so independently. She created a Kickstarter campaign asking for support. Inspired by Kelley’s call to action, friends and fans alike were able to raise $40,000 for the reco rding and promotion of Stacking Stones. The daring debut is named for the challenges and hurdles Kelley has had to overcome both as an artist and individual. Jean Kelley takes influences from her past experiences to pave a new, unique sound for herself while looking to inspire hope and determination with her powerful lyrics. Keep up with Jean Kelley as she plans the release of her debut EP featuring her empowering single “Stacking Stones.” For more info: Website: www.jeankelleymusic.com Facebook: www.facebook.com/jeankelleymusic Soundcloud: www.soundcloud.com/jeankelleymusic Instagram: www.instagram.com/jeankelleymusic Twitter: www.twitter.com/jeankelleymusic

Well, its finally here! We just finished my first major music video. It's very funny and eye popping with a really hot catchy pop/hip hop song. There have been many bumps in the road, but we have arrived! I have to say it was a lot of fun making it and hope it will be more fun for my fans to watch & to listen! Yet, this whole new career I am embarking on has been extremely eerie. My fortitude, patience, and strength have all been tested, yet I am better for it all. So, many people have helped me along the way. I can not give enough thanks to those that involved in the process, those that performed with me, along with those that had to put up with me al these months. see what some have to say: Patrick Hasburgh :Right on that delicious edge between camp and corn; brilliantly self-aware. Loved it. Any guess what he made it for? I'm betting amazingly cheap. This is the future... everyone is a filmmaker; exciting as hell... crush the studio barons. http://www.musicviplist.com/2014/06/02/carmine-russotti-the-dream-maker/ Carmine Russotti presents us with the craziest video I have seen in a long, long time. I was 100% baffled by this video as I watched it on Monday morning. I have to say that I really like this song and video. It is new, and not something that is cliche. Carmine is an older guy, but the video is fresher than a newborn. The production is top notch, and the whole song from the beat to the chorus is a solid A+. http://www.examiner.com/article/from-dream-maker-to-pop-star-carmine-russotti-continues-to-impress Carmine Russotti just released his debut single and video on Hoopla/INgrooves with his song, “The Dream Maker.” This is a song of hope, a catchy, upbeat song that makes you not just learn the hook but sing along with it. It is an encouraging song of brilliance by a man who taught music in the New York public school system for 27 years. He was a true dream maker as a teacher of others music, and now he is using his own music. The video takes the watcher/listening on a magic carpet ride through a dream world of time square that includes belly dancers and a hip hop verse before Carmine wakes up wondering what is going on in his music career. It is an epic journey of musical fun and excitement! Russotti’s new single is a catchy tune that makes you memorize the hook after only one listen, and it becomes evident very quickly that Russotti is trying to continue to inspire as he changes careers. The video was directed by Eugene Choe. The song is available on every major outlet online, and you can also get a signed picture from Russotti if you purchase his the song from his website, creativeragemusic.com ... http://maglomaniac.com/carmine-russotti-dream-maker/ Now it isn’t every day that I get a new song that sticks in my head, but today is one of those days. The song? A newly released song and video by Carmine Russotti called, “The Dream Maker.” Carmine has the first crazy, wild, awesome, good (or bad?) song that could go viral in 2014. Seriously! This song and video might just be so bad it is good. The video came across my desk via an old friend and it was listed as ‘hip-hop’. This song was far away from any hip hop I had ever heard, but the song does have a short rap feature towards the end. I was attracted to the song, and I had to watch it over and over and I noticed I had the hook stuck in my head very quickly. The song has that appeal among other things. I didn’t know if it was a train wreck or really great. I might have forgotten that Mr. Russotti isn’t a known musician, he is brand new to the scene, and he is also no spring chicken. Russotti was a New York City music teacher for 27 years, and his long list of performing credits include the following, Three of a Kind Orchestra, Freelance Musician, Hunter College Orchestra, Hunter College Jazz Band, Alex Maysonet Ensemble, Normie Wayne Music, Larry Charles Big Band, Various performances in off Broadway musicals: Fiddler On The Roof, Anything Goes, Guys & Dolls, etc. Gloria Praise Team, W.O.W., Tony C & The Nose Pickers, and various ensembles in the New York City Public School System. Now here he is, a man who has been in and out of the music business with his first official music release, The Dream Maker. The song and video by Russotti is something different, it is fresh, and upbeat, and I think it will be the first viral video of 2014. Just on a hunch, but leave a comment and tell us how you feel. Solo artist & piccolo bass player Chris Hardy has released a new live performance video of his uplifting pop/rock song “Fresh Start”. The song was recorded on 10/29/16 at a performance in Augusta, Georgia and was written in 2014 for Chris' “100 Happy Songs” project. Originally from Maine, Chris was assigned to the 434th Army Band at Fort Gordon, Georgia just outside of Augusta in 1983. He liked the music scene there so much, he stayed after separating from the Army and has released 10 full-length albums since then. His music is influenced by a wide variety of artists such as Beck, Steely Dan, Robyn Hitchcock, Mike Doughty and Elvis Costello. More info can be found at his website: www.chrishardyworld.com The Soul Exchange was founded in 2013 by guitarist Hans von Bell, drummer Benny White and guitarist Thomas von Bell. In 2014, the trio was joined by vocalist Erik Olofsson and Tobias Chevalier (vocals, keyboards etc). The band enjoyed success with their eponymous debut album “The Soul Exchange”, produced by the seasoned rock producer and studio engineer Mats “Limpan” Lindfors, released on January 20th, 2015. In 2016 the band underwent some personnel changes, with Daniel John joining founding members Hans & Thomas von Bell as new vocalist, and also bringing in Benny White on drums and Patrik “Patte” Ekelöf on bass, that makes up the present line up of The Soul Exchange. With the new line up, the band has moved into a new direction, both musically and image wise, with a different modern sound and stage image. The Soul Exchange will release their 2nd full length album, produced by the renowned Swedish producer Magnus “Tank” Ljungqvist, on the Mervilton Records label in the fall of 2016. The band promises this to be a much darker and modern sounding effort, than the debut. Stating that “this is a new era of The Soul Exchange” and that “the band has found its sound on the 2nd album and this will be the formula going forward. Modern hard rock with a great portion of metal influences, and most importantly, the vocal arrangements and melodies are having a major focus in The Soul Exchanges’ otherwise riff oriented music”. The phrase “It is the sound of a new world being born, and the louder sound of an old world being destroyed” has never been more relevant than for the new album by The Soul Exchange!
Rose Angelica has just signed a contract with Century II Records in Nashville, Tn. Her new release is Saturday Night Is Girls Night Out a duet with country great Donna Cunningham.
"Rose is a great talented singer/songwriter, and we are so glad to have her on Century II", said Allen Karl CEO. " Her new song will be a big hit." Rose made her mark in Nashville in 2011 with her hit single Girls Just Wanna Drink Beer, and later The Wish a ballad about a child's prayer to be adopted at Christmas time. It was on the charts for 48 weeks. From playing in clubs and bars to becoming a prolific songwriter, Tony Clarke has been perfecting his craft for many years now. His deep tones now pursue the country scene, and his latest album, Good Mornin’ Mr Mornin’ is a mixture of upbeat country songs and ballads. A self-taught guitarist, Tony started performing at various holidays camps in his teens, and went on to play clubs and venues around the UK. He then joined another guitarist and toured the club scene in a two-piece band, Stampede, singing rock-and-roll country classics and, of course, Tony’s own music. Tony then realised that he wanted to sing and perform his own songs, so he went solo again. Musical influences came from his parents. They played music all the time at home and he was brought up on Elvis, Roy Orbison, and his father’s love of country music with Johnny Cash, Dean Martin, Charlie Pride and Patsy Cline. When his father died in early 2012, Tony wrote Here Comes that Song Again for him, and he hasn’t put down his pen since, even remixing some songs that are over 20 years old to give them a more modern spin. Tony is currently in the studio putting together his next album, which will be released in Spring/Summer 2014. Jared Mancuso makes his return as a solo artist with his new alternative rock album Superdope . His first solo release, A Very Pleasant Person (2012), is comprised of songs written over the course of a decade, and chronicles his growth as a songwriter and arranger. Just like Superdope, it features him on every instrument: drums, bass, guitar, keys, and vocals. Following the release of A Very Pleasant Person, Jared teamed up with friend and homonymous fellow songwriter Jared Bardugone to produce two albums as The Jared Project. While on hiatus from TJP, Jared Mancuso has been spending a great deal of time spearheading another venture called Not Fade Away, a modernized tribute to the music of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, The Big Bopper, and their contemporaries. The mid-century stylings of early rock & roll in Not Fade Away served as a great source of inspiration for Superdope. Additionally, Jared took influence from the sunny beach-party vibes and musical intricacies of The Beach Boys, as well as elements from some of his modern musical role models: the catchiness of Weezer, the bluesy garage grittiness of Jack White, and the punchiness of The Black Keys. These elements come together in Superdope, a sonically refreshing, in-your-face love letter to rock & roll mailed priority first-class from Jared Mancuso. Superdope is a fresh taste of what has been missing in modern rock. The melting pot of sounds has set the standard for the fun that rock ‘n roll can be again. - Indie Band Guru
Superdope is filled with rich and complex punk/garage-inspired melodies, rhythms and vocals, all swirled together with tons of high & low, loud & soft, and stop & go contrast to keep a fan more than interested. The end result is an album that is not only technically and musically wonderful…it’s just plain fun. - The Ark of Music A damn near perfect album, top to bottom, some tracks are better than others but there’s not a bad track in the lot. And two tracks alone are worth having this album for –namely the title track 'Superdope' and the instrumental 'Mayday'. Other gems for me include 'Roll Over', 'Drive Me Crazy' and 'The Other Side'. - Jamsphere Magazine If this doesn’t make you love rock and roll again, something is seriously wrong with you. - Middle Tennessee Music "I Love Christmas Time " is a cross of adult contemporary/country/Rock song that hits your heart right in time for Christmas.

His passion for music has always burned deep inside him ever since he was a boy and became a member of the chorus at school. Into his teen years he became more interested in the artistic and creative sides of music, from being the lead singer in a band to writing his own music. But it wasn't until he was driving around in a car full of friends that he realized he could rap as well. Conor and his friends would use beats from the Internet and freestyle, until one day he realized that he was better than anyone in the car and was determined to find a way to fuse his two music passions together. Now today at age 24 Conor has been working on music strong for the past few years fusing hip hop and pop together to make catchy melodies and unique rap bars. The difference between Conor and other people that might be doing the same thing comes down to this, he's your next door neighbor, the kid you rode the bus with, the all American boy. Through his music and image, you feel like you can relate if not feel like you have already met him. If you would like more information, or would like to interview the artist please contact Karl Lawrence at [email protected] Have you ever had to start something all over again? Maybe you had to rewrite an entire essay. I know first hand with this article. I remade this article three times before this one. Or maybe you wanted to remodel a room in your house, halfway through you realized it’s not what you wanted. Let’s raise the stakes up a bit. Have you ever rethought your career goals? If you said yes to any of these, Then you’ll understand this story.
This is a short story about a guy who had to start from square one again. He was rising, when an unexpected turn made him rethink his plans. He’s rebuilding slowly, but stronger. His name is Jay Nova. I was intrigued by his story because of his passion of not giving up. Jay has been a great friend of mine for years now. As life happens, you tend to branch off and do different things. It was great to hear what he’s been doing to accomplish his goals. Two years ago Jay was signed with a local record label in Providence, Rhode Island. Before he knew it, he was in the music studio producing new content. The label had him quickly up on stage performing and creating a small buzz. Work was non-stop and things were good. He was working with different directors, promoters, models and dancers. Jay took advantage of getting to know some of the people he was working with and keeping in touch. Unexpectedly, his manager said that the record label were going to be moving their production down to Atlanta, Georgia. There was more opportunities for collaborations, an other entertainment industry personnel. He was more than welcome to relocate down south with them. Unfortunately, he couldn’t just pick up and go. Jay had his young family in Providence. A move like that would really shake up the bond that he has with his family. When you’re starting up, you have limited resources to work with. A tough decision like that is not easy to make. He decided to stay at home. So back to the drawing board he went. Jay started doing covers of different pop songs at the time and tagging his social media followers to it. He would write personal messages and attach professionally taken photos to people who supported his content. He did this to show his audience that he was a step about others when it came to caring about his audience. This got a great response from his community of followers. He wanted to work with as many people as he could at this point. As his numbers grew in followers, he wanted to try something new. So he decided to try and incorporate what he was doing with the high school youth groups in the city as well. His goal in this was to inspire others to reach for their dreams as he was doing with his. A video director named Alex Gomes of WithGomesProductions.com, saw what Jay was doing with his social media sites. He contacted Jay and told him that he wanted to work with him on a project coming up. Jay happily agreed on taking the part. When he met Alex, he told him about his idea of getting young kids involved in their projects. They both agreed that this was a great way of incorporating the communities in what they were doing. A small film was made with this spirit in mind. The short film is called Dance. They were able to do just that. The film included many local students in the final project. Be sure to look it up if you can. From that project Jay was able to collaborate with other professionals in the industry. Because he volunteered his time in their branch of entertainment, they were willing to go out of their way and help each other in a natural way. At any given moment he could have different people hitting him about different projects to work on. Jay has gotten to build up his own team on young and innovative young hungry people trying to make a name for their selves. He has been performing at different live events around Rhode Island. At the time of my interview with Jay, he mentioned he was performing at A newport Art Festival the day before. Lately he has been performing alongside Bryant St. Laurent, another singer with a great voice also on the rise. They’ve been working together to produce a couple of new tracks that they will be dropping soon. So be on the lookout for those. His music has some flavors that’s worth noting. This is definitely music geared towards the ladies. I’m sorry guys, no guys were popped in the making of this music. In my opinion, it’s worth listening to. Check him out on Soundcloud or Facebook. Follow his content, he will hit thank you for it too. That’s an attribute that many folks don’t have, being humble to thanking the people one on one. It’s his willingness to work with the people who want to inspire and create that’s fascinating to me about Jay. Maybe you will too. - Manny Turbides |
