Canadian songwriter Beth Marie Anderson's much anticipated Christmas Album is out now.
Christmas With You is Beth's third record following her 2013 release Let It Go and Open Road in 2010. A songwriter and critically acclaimed vocalist Beth has amassed an impressive resume of co-writes, cuts, and acknowledgments. The new album features her friends Andy Leftwich (four-time GRAMMY award winner), Jeff Taylor (eight-time GRAMMY nominated instrumentalist and member of GRAMMY-winning group "The Time Jumpers"), Tyler Summers (Martina McBride, Aretha Franklin, Feist, Lee Ann Womack, The Temptations, and many more), Vinnie Clesielski (featured on records that have received 25 GRAMMY wins and 50 GRAMMY nominations), and others incredible musicians. A born and raised Vancouver Island girl, ‘Beth Marie Anderson’ is a multi-award nominated Singer/Songwriter with who has traveled the globe performing, writing songs, recording albums and moving her way up the music industry ladder.
She has had several of her songs cut by artists all over North America, including Grand Ole Opry Performer Sherry Lynn, and has had song holds with major label artists including Alabama, LeAnn Rimes, Sarah Evans & Pam Tillis. Beth has recorded three albums in Nashville and was nominated for multiple awards including “Song of The Year” at the 2012 Vancouver Island Music Awards, “Female Vocalist Of The Year” at the 2013 Barebones Music Awards, “Album of The Year’ at the 2015 British Columbia Country Music Awards and nominated in the 2nd ballot for ‘Female Vocalist’, ‘Roots/Americana Artist’, ‘Website of the year’ for the 2016 BCCMA Awards. Beth has shared the stage with Canadian Superstars such as Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Johnny Reid, Michelle Wright, Patricia Conroy, Trooper, Jessie Farrell and English/US Hit songwriter Roger Cook. Beth was selected as the only Canadian ‘Emerging Artist’ at Nashville’s 2013 & 2015 CMA Fan Fair where she did four days of 8 hour meet & greets, saw over 3,000 new fans and performed at select venues including the legendary Bluebird Café. In 2014 Beth was selected as an International Finalist in the ‘NewSong International Songwriting Competition’, beating out thousands of Artists all around the world for 1 of the 10 spots. 2015 saw Beth awarded a Music Grant from FACTOR Canada, her songs were recorded by a handful of Canadian Independent Artists who in turn had Radio Success, Award Nominations and Music Videos created. That same year Beth showcased at the SML Songwriting Festival in Virginia, was selected as a Semi Finalist in the ‘Unsigned Only’ Artist Competition (seeking the greatest unsigned act in North America), showcased at ‘Diamonds In The Rough during the 2015 Canadian Country Music Award Week in Halifax, was nominated for ‘Album of The Year’ at the 2015 BCCMA Awards, and was selected to perform at the BCCMA Awards in Vancouver. In the winter, Beth had a successful 16 date Christmas tour on Vancouver Island following her radio single ‘The First Noel’. Over 2016 Beth took a step back from performing and focused on writing with Artists across North America for their projects, wrote songs for her next two projects, taught music and networked at major musical events. 2017 is already seeing the hard work pay off as she received an Honourable Mention after being a Finalist in the 2017 Canadian Songwriting Competition, she has 15 slated song cuts with Independent Artists, her co-written song landed an Edmonton Artist 10K to shoot a Music Video through the program ‘Storyhive’, and the Ledgendary US Group ‘Alabama’ had one of Beth’s songs on hold for their 2017 Christmas Album.
